How to Enjoy Our Sushi Tacos and Hand Rolls

Some of our hand rolls come film-wrapped to preserve freshness when you are not seated at our bar. Here's how to unwrap and enjoy them like a pro.


Tip: The special packaging keeps the seaweed crisp. Only unwrap when you're ready to eat for the best texture!

Sushi Tacos

  1. Hold one side firmly.
    Pinch the edge of the wrapper on the other side with your other hand.
     
  2. Gently slide the wrapper off the first half of the roll.
     
  3. Hold the unwrapped side firmly and pinch the edge of the remaining wrapper.
     
  4. Gently slide off the second half and enjoy!

Hand Rolls

  1. Find the red line — it's the tear strip that starts the process.
     
  2. Tear along the red line.
    This opens the wrapper, separating the seaweed from the inner plastic film.
     
  3. As you pull the film apart, half the seaweed will naturally release.
     
  4. Once half is out, roll the rice onto the exposed seaweed.
     
  5. Finally, remove the rest of the film and enjoy!
